Account creation Company or agency name, address, phone and fax numbers, credit/payment information, contact name and e-mail address. Contest entries, surveys and other registrations Name, e-mail and phone number, but this may vary by promotion or purpose. See special note on contests below. Using information for other purposes We require only the information that is needed for safely processing your online order and for contacting you about your transactions. Your corporate or agency information will not be shared or sold to any other party. Does Data America purchase information about customers from other companies? We occasionally purchase third party information about companies or agencies that are our customers, or that are customer prospects. We do not purchase any personal customer information. The company information we purchase includes size of company, number of employees, annual sales, etc.. This is used for customizing the user experience online and for supplementing our internal sales information. What about e-mail? Data America respects the right of customers to limit or exclude unsolicited e-mail. If someone in your organization is receiving unwanted e-mail from Data America, simply unsubscribe by forwarding a request to sales@dataamerica.com. When you purchase online from Data America, we will contact you by e-mail to confirm your order and to update you on the status of your order. NOTE: Your account executive may occasionally send you promotional or product information. If you do not wish to receive such e-mails, simply let your account manager know. Who has access to your account information? Only authorized programming personnel at Data America can see your password. Your account executive cannot see your password. Nor can any other personnel. If you forget your password, you can receive a reminder via e-mail or create a new one by contacting webmaster@dataamerica.com. Only authorized sales, customer service and accounting personnel have access to your account information. What if you change how you use my information? If we change how we use your customer information, we will notify you by posting notice of the change to this site. What about cookies?
